Use this 4-section build guide for the fastest way to get your keyboard kit assembled.
Setting Up the PCB
-
Remove the PCB from the packaging and plug in a USB-C to A cable into the daughterboard.
-
Plug in the USB-A end into a computer. Test the PCB using VIA as shown in the image. Toggle on "test matrix" to follow the PCB layout. Make sure all keys are triggering (marked as highlighted) on your screen.
Plate Sub-Assembly
-
Remove the plate from the carrying case and its plastic wrapping. Set aside for the next step.
-
After inserting the stabilizers, place the plate on the PCB and insert/solder the switches.
Top Case Assembly
-
Remove the case from its plastic wrapping and unscrew the cases using a T10 torx tool. Place the SKUF (rubber feet) in their slots on the bottom case, and the gaskets on the top case.
-
Install the plate assembly with the M3*5mm screws with the T10 torx key.
Bottom Case Assembly
-
Install the daughterboard with the M2 x 4mm screws using the T6 torx tool. Carefully insert the JST cable (pin side facing down) to the PCB.
-
Place the top case on the bottom while keeping the JST cable in the channel. Screw in the cases with the M3 x 18mm (back side) and M3 x 10mm screws (front side) using the T10 Torx tool.
